The online platforms for SAS and R programming at Stat Shiksha Point are well organized and provide a good foundation for beginners with clear explanations and live demonstrations with hands-on examples. However adding more real life projects, advanced topics and regular practice assignments would make the courses even more effective and industry oriented.

The parallel teaching of SAS and R helped learners understand the strengths of both platforms and improved overall analytical competence. Regular interaction and doubt-clearing sessions created a supportive and engaging learning environment.
To further strengthen the course, greater emphasis on hands-on practical training and project-based learning is recommended. Increasing the number of supervised practical sessions using real-world datasets particularly from health, social sciences, and research domains would enhance applied learning. Introducing module-wise mini projects and a comprehensive final project covering data management, statistical analysis, visualization, and interpretation would provide valuable end-to-end exposure. Additional project guidance, structured evaluation, and report-writing support would make the course even more impactful and better prepare participants for research work, dissertations, and professional data analytics roles. When I joined this course, I only had theoretical knowledge of the subject. After attending the Biostatistics with SAS and R Programming classes, I have developed good programming skills and a clear understanding of practical applications.
The way of teaching was simple, well-organized, and easy to understand. All the teachers were supportive and cleared every doubt with patience. Ganesh Sir explained R programming very effectively, especially its use in clinical trials. Dipraj Sir guided us in SAS programming and taught us very easily understanding way, and Yashshree Ma’am taught advanced SAS in detail in simple language.
